From Your Committee

Thank you so much for your support over the summer – the club, especially the garden and exterior, has bloomed in the sun due to all of the amazing volunteers that are working tirelessly to improve the aesthetic of your club. You may have noticed the signage being updated to match the club’s branding too.

Sadly, we have had to say goodbye to two long term staff members. Dot has officially retired, although I’m confident her presence as a valued member and customer will still be noted, and also Katie who has moved on to pastures new after many years. I’m sure you will all join us in wishing them both well for the future.

The Flavour Trailer has also moved on to another site.

We still have space for people to join the committee and I promise it can be rewarding and does not have to take over your whole life! The main topics of conversation recently have included toilet maintenance contracts, the price of our beer compared to other local establishments even with the ever-increasing brewery costs, and taking pride in the fact that thanks to the hard work of members and staff the Hillmorton Ex-Servicemen’s Club is still here. Obviously, there is more that can and must be done, and we appreciate all the help and support we can get.

See you soon,

Your Committee
